OT Jim: I am a long time follower of your wise and accurate posts. Noticed your OT on politics, and just wanted to commend you on your brillant instincts on the market and politics. I describe myself as a middle of the road extremist. And could not agree with you more on the surplus/debt issue. The GOP pols are doing nothing more than bribing voters with their tax cut orthodoxy. It will not work.
