Ellen, I have no idea what their patents are worth. Many companies have basic patents that bring in royalties, but nothing in comparison to the profits of companies selling the end product.

Clearly, PHCM is not using their patents to stop competition. In fact, I believe they want and need to generate as much momentum of new products on their WAP format as possible and that can mean that they will take less of a reward, but hopefully of a greater pie.

I see the next post lists a projection of 35 million in year 2000 sales. I'd be more interested to see projections for 2001. At some point, they have the potential to have exploding sales that will make them a world class company.

Yes, patents are important, but more important will be the adoption of WAP and PHCM's ability to remain a controlling figure selling profitable software. I like the company and I am long. I'm eagerly awaiting next week when I hope there will be more announcements from the WAP conference.

Do you have any projections for growth 2 or 3 years from now?

Regards,

Mark
