Doubt it. Times have changed. I think it is pretty offensive to may people. Not all people though. I was discussing it a few years ago with an African American co-worker and I said I thought it was just a spoof...like All In The Family. That no one thought it was the way African Americans really are. She looked at me and shook her head and said you just don't get it. I think the biggest problem was it was the ONLY thing on the air with African Americans in it. There was no balance.
