Jeffrey, the former, most definitely. I don't buy stocks that have tripled in a short period, except Sonosight.

But you do seem to feel that past prices are somehow indicative of possible future prices. I guess I look at this too, but with very little confidence that it's meaningful to do so.

The two paragraphs above are contradictory, aren't they?

FWIW, I bought NH at $8 7/8 in March, like most of us here. When it doubled, that didn't seem sustainable, so I sold at $17.50 in May.

When will I learn that the denizens of this thread (except myself) are the smartest, and I should triple up on my bets?
