You're right that the OEMs won't receive any revenue if consumers get their Wavemeter via add-on dongle. However, the OEMs are continuing to sell millions of computers every year, and the potential Wavemeter revenue stream just from those units will, I believe, prove to be irresistable to them, particularly as their margins continue to decline.

If you have some reason to believe this isn't the case, I'd be happy to hear it; I've got what most observers would say is an imprudent proportion of my stock portfolio invested in Wave (1/3), and I'm constantly testing my assumptions. However, nothing I've heard yet from Claugus, the A@P shorts, and other random skeptics has shaken my faith in this company and its mission.
