And what would you call a Progressive? TR was the first to call for the Social Security system. I wonder how that would go over today with certain folks. It was Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt that instituted Social Security. Teddy had long left office when that income redistrubition program was instituted. This was the beginning's of the "engineered" society. SS would have been fine if they had not established it as a "Robin Hood" program. They corrupted it from the beginning by treating it as a tax instead of an investment.
