to: mark silvers from: truedog I still have a problem with your belief that violent crime is down in America. Some specific crimes are down while others are the same or higher, From what I read, murder is not one that has decreased. Even if murder had decreased, it was done without a gun law. Two countries that have a low crime rate are Israel and Singapore. I know there are others but am not inclined to research right now. I might also add that the magnitude of killing has increased in the last few years. There were murders and other violent attacks but, not nearly as many victims were killed in each incident. TD
