Great article on the Washington Post website about W, there is a link to it on the Drudge Report. I'm using my dad's confounded Mac right now, so I can't post the link. Its a lengthy article that focuses on his earlier days, particularly his drinking, then his swearing off of drinking in 1986. The article says that stopping drinking was a transformative experience for him. Having been there and done that, I can attest that it is also a character building experience, as I am a man of impeccable character today. <g>

This guy is the real deal, there is not much sham about him. (I guess there has to be a little bit, considering his line of work.) I strongly suggest to any Buchananites or Smithies out there that this guy will do right by conservatives. I say that as a die hard Buchananite, this time around the best general in the field is George W. Bush.
