rhansen, which would you consider to be the "better brokers" here in the us, not only with the intent to short BB issues but to short anything. looking for a good broker with a reputation for having an adequate inventory to short. not necessarily interested at this time with the daytrader type firms (MBTrader, Yamner) but for a normal retail broker who is known for having inventory to loan. i have heard about DLJ, i think they use the same clearing house as Yamner. would this be an adequate choice, in your opinion?

I think you are very wrong unless the rules have changed. Last time I checked it was no stocks can be sold short under $5 in USA and they have to be marginable. BB stocks aren't margined here.

Do we have a broker here?
