Sorry if we misunderstood the intent of your post. May I suggest, if you had briefly referred to Q and Lucent having recently announced joint project on 911 access (and it could have been done that quickly) and posed your question, we would have picked up on your thought and addressed it. If you had, eg, at the end, said, "For those of you who don't remember details, here's the url again." I think that would have not only been acceptable, but the kind of approach we are trying to encourage here. Sorry, if we are being a bit "hard" but it's an effort to keep things in check on the thread. (I would have pm'd you if this were "personal", but think the approach to the board that I am suggesting will be helpful to all, in order to help keep this thread as valuable as possible.) I think locator technology is very important and should have other uses when the person is in a different town. BTW, if not posted earlier. This morning's G* launch of 4 more satellites was successful--32 are up now.
