One final thought, on Saturday I meet a fund manager. He manages an Energy fund for one of the country largest Investment Houses. We started talking about stocks and it quickly became obvious that I knew very little about oil and gas stocks and he knew even less about technology stocks. I was just about to leave when he pop this to me: Have you ever heard of a couple of technology, ALSC & S3 he asked ? I cutely said no, what do you know about them?? He gave me the fab story and value and told me they were very good value plays, he went on to tell me how ALSC got crushed on Friday and anyone with an 6 month investment hold horizon may want to take advantage of the price. Then he gave me the S3 and dimd story. This is what I found interesting, for a guy that knew nothing about technology and considering where he worked these were the only 2 tech stories he was talking about. Pretty interesting I thought.
