On another thought,

are the thread's cognoscenti interested in commenting on
long and short term implications of the upcoming tax cut?

Especially if the republicans achieve some measure of success?

I missed Bob's airtime this weekend, but it doesn't sound like
this issue was touched on. So perhaps this is off-topic. If
so, please accept my apologies.

regards to all,
SAF

You're 100% right. The model is still bullish and there is no sell signal.

Don, it is a shame that as we may be approaching some of the most critical times in the 90's bull market when most of us are glued to Brinker's every word in voice and print that this new generation of Brinker bashers have crawled out of the woodwork to perform no useful service but be a distraction to us all. Why some have decided to invade this thread who's very name and charter does not invite this garbage is beyond me. The worst case would be if these bashers get their potential result of sending Bob to the golf course on a more full time basis prematurely. To make a miserable paraphrase which Brinker probably wouldn't appreciate what are they going to do if they don't have Brinker to kick around anymore? I wish they would take their worthless comments and just go away.

Marc

<<But, be assured, if he calls the bear market and some people decide to follow the call and escape the ravages of a bear market, there will be a new group of bashers and trashers that will appear until he gets smart and decides to play golf full time. No one should be surprised if he replaces radio with golf by December.>>

I notice that the last time there was a big flock of Brinker-bashers coming out of the woodwork was last October, and that's exactly when Brinker proved his worth, not only by being pounding-the-table bullish, but also by standing up to the onslaught for the benefit of his subscribers and listeners who were given the courage to stay invested when they needed it most. Hmmm...I wonder if there is a significant correlation between Brinker bashing and market inflection points? <g>

I can imagine that Brinker would find it especially frustrating if he reads these Internet threads. And no one could fault him for wanting more time off, although I suspect that a discontinuance of the radio program would result in a huge clientele for JUSTATHERAPIST.COM, and I would be at the head of the line.

Why did you change your screen name from "Don Lane" to "mister topes"?

I had "Don Lane" people marked and now it is gone with a "mister topes" in its place.
