SS - I have to think that the XAU is a good trend indicator but dangerous to bet the farm on. When Tom presented that downside penetration recently I looked at the charts of some of the component companies and the picture was brightening in all cases - so the bounce back was not surprising - but as you infer, things can still go either way - with the upside having the edge? d

searle: @watching the bouncing bal (xau)...but it seems to have gotten itself painted into a "corner"...a corner of that triangle...running out of room shortly...which way will it go, which way will it go...:)
