Terrence, if the worst thing anyone has said to you on SI is to suggest that you are feeling "pissy" when you are not, then you are fortunate indeed. <g> The fact of the matter is that it is very easy for anyone in cyberspace to misunderstand anyone else. It happens all the time. So deal with it. If you can't deal with it, you might consider changing your manner of communication. More precisely, your communication manners. This might facilitate mutual understanding, if that is really what you want.
