They appear to be obsessing on Amazon and making it a personal crusade.

John,

I admit to have obsessed with Amazon up until last February with a negative bias. One does lose some objectivity when one does not step back and look at the big picture. I am still obsessed with this thread but it is one of the finest.

Once you see this happen how can you trust their objectivity?

This is correct!

John, they call this editor's bias. Take business week for an opposite example. I can't think of another magazine that loves Amzn more. Please remember it was BW that was the first to refer to Amzn as the next Wal-Mart.
Then you have Fortune that seems to be totally unbiased.
So, the point is you and all the bulls should keep reading BW, and the bears should keep reading Barrons. In my case, I read them all but I really do prefer Fortune.

RE: BTW Barrons is getting really redundant. They need a new schtick... I mean, come on. Have they covered anybody this year besides Amazon?

Exactly... and what a waste of time! If you bought their argument the first time around, you are out of Amazon... now move on, geez.

They used to be a decent financial pub about 5 years ago. They must have a new editor. The same thing happened to II, used to be good, now a waste of time.
