If 40 million shares were issued tomorrow as a result of options exercise, then do you really think a price of 154 could be maintained? You can't just multiply the current stock price against total shares, including those that are reserved for options, and come up with a market cap.

John, So if I undrestand you are saying there are really 224M total share in existence? Should this be the figuer we look at when figuring EPS?

What are the shares called that a company holds that are used for acquasitions?
