This must be my day to complain -- here's an interesting Transpoint issue -- On the TP site, I changed the account from which my bills are paid (after abandoning Chase for NTBK). A day later, the site told me I couldn't pay my one bill they have there, because I had no active account, only 1 in "processing." I e-mailed to ask how long this will take. Here was the response:

""Eric,

Re: Case # 1147 ( Payment Accounts)

Thank you for contacting TransPoint Customer Service.

My research has discovered that it will take ten days to validate the new account. You will receive a notice in the Current Activity area when the account is ready, and the status of the account in your Payment Accounts list ( in Customer Service) will change from Processing to Active when it is available for use.

For your convince, there is a Frequently Asked Questions section located in the Customer Service section of your ebills website.

Thank you for contacting TransPoint. If we can be of further assistance , please contact us.

Judy

TransPoint CSR

Thank you.""

In my humble opinion, this is too damn long, particularly since my bill pay would now be late if I use TP. How long does the comparable process take with CKFR? Anyone know?
