To Doug H. re: My statement about AOL going to the low 90s high 80s. I think AOL will go to the low 90s high 80s or so. Why? because, if the earnings couldn't drive it then what will? Ans. 1) Price 2) News. re: 2 News. We have been getting great news out of AOL. That most recent DSL deal and Cable deal with Ameritech, should of driven AOL higher it didn't. So, what other news will drive AOL higher? AOL has to do a deal with the ATHM, or someone like roadrunner. I believe the worry over AOL broadband strategy is over blown, but it doesn't matter what I think. Also, free Internet Access is going to haunt all ISPs.. re: 1 Price. around 89 was the last bottom should bounce then. The keyword is BOUNCE. The big problem is the annual sept/oct sell off and with Y2K looming, and rates back in the picture, any recovery from the sept/oct selloff could be lenghten.
