Not to mention that that number is the GRANTED options, not the VESTED options. All of hte option plans take 5 years to vest. the current plan is yearly as 0%, 20%, 20%, 20%, 40%. but the number of shares are reported as the first day an employee is granted this option to vest. You will notice from time to time that there are options returned to the pool by employees that leave and do not vest options granted.
