john, although you have a minority viewpoint re msft due back with a vegenance near term, i think you may be right. last quarter / year just didn't seem like the prelude to hard times. the y2k "effect" likely is not a spike but rather a damper over the last 6 months & next few. then, all those corporate tech chiefs will gush ahead to buy the toys they've been budgeted once "we're sure everything still works". i work for a 14,000 employee company...this is "our plan"
