Isn't it bothersome to ANYBODY that if Amazon is so customer-centric, why that intense customer focus is NOT translating into increased sales from those same customers?

(In fact, it is doing just the opposite. Average revenue per customer this past quarter was down to $29 versus $35 a year ago.)

In addition, the cost to acquire a new customer has risen 40 percent from a year ago.

Can ANYONE show me the business model that shows WHEN, if EVER, this company will turn a profit?

This logic of "Don't worry. When Amazon gets big enough, they'll be profitable" just doesn't cut it.

I can grow my revenues easily when I can give a $2 instant, over-the-counter rebate for each $1 widget you buy from me.

What does that prove?
