The announcement about AboveNet means nothing, they only had some meetings and Crys-Tel claims to have nebulous plans - these OTC companies will try to rub up against better known companies to try to gain credibility (and get people to buy the stock, which is the Crys-Tel insiders only real goal) - as they have done in the past with Nokia. ------------------------ More about the recent press releases: The July 12/99 press release about claimed company operations in the Balkans is not believable. They claim to be "providing IP Telephony services to meet the needs of the displaced ethnic Albanians". This a typical stock promoter's ploy - they claim to be doing business in undeveloped countries on the other side of the world, where investors cannot get confirming information, while they have not reported any revenue back home in Canada or the USA. ----------------------------- A July 22/99 PR says CYSS "announced today plans to expand its IP Telephony services to support unified messaging, video conferencing, on-demand multimedia, and the wireless transmission of data and telephony". A June 25 PR says "Crys-Tel will build a network capable of controlling and transporting multimedia services including, but not limited to data, fax, voice and video." These are just "vapor" PR's to pump the stock. There is nothing said about what dollars will be spent or received, who will do the work, or to confirm that any work has been. They do not appear to have any existing IP Telephony services, that they claim to be expanding from. ----------------------------- These announcements are from CYSS which according to their June 4 announcement has only four employees on board, and three of them have now been with the company only for six weeks. Only one person, Daniel C. Jentzsch, seems to have any technical knowledge that would be required to develop and operate these claimed service operations. The number of hours per day, if any, that Jentzsch is working on these claimed operations, is another question. I would think that for CYSS to justify its current market capitalization approaching $100 million, Jentzsch should be putting in a solid one hour per day at least.
