You don't INITIATE the position AT the IL value....you can't buy and sell the IL. You initiate the position on the stock price and calculate the RR from the price high. The 2nd day over the IL was used in all examples...hint, hint. It's when the price is OVER the IL not AT the IL that is the whole point. OF COURSE you initiate the position AFTER the event. Sheez! The IL is there to tell you it's time to start shorting...not for use as a price at which to short.
ALSO, it's best NOT to enter the ENTIRE position at once. Whew!
That would be the same as never being able to add to a long position because you left yourself with nothing to add with.
Now you seem to be trying to make lemonade out of oranges because you don't get why lemons are yellow or something.
