Are The People Buying the Clinton Hypocrisy?
Let Us Remember Who Bill and Hillary Really Are

By L.D. BROWN

LITTLE ROCK--Bill is making himself available now to the poor souls of America he has always claimed to love and nurture. He traveled last week to Clarksdale, Mississippi making sure not to cross the river within a rock's throw of his impoverished East Arkansas. While there, and elsewhere, he lamented the plight of the disenfranchised masses. If only they had a Wal-Mart Super Center or a Tyson Chicken plant they would be saved! Bill reached out to poor blacks of the region and implored government to improve their standards of living. Let's not forget Bill's record, hence his hypocrisy.

Bill could have only crossed the Helena, Arkansas river bridge to find a sister city of Clarksdale, one he ignored for many years, Mariana, Arkansas. Bill Clinton, as governor of Arkansas, presided over the Eastern Arkansas debacle that at times included upwards of 30% unemployment in towns such as Mariana. And what did he do about it? He exploited the citizenry by flying in with wads of cash for the black preachers at election time. Many bought half pints of whiskey and handed them out at the polling booths on election day, ostensibly to "get out the vote" as the money and practice has since been characterized. I know it happened, I saw it.

And now Bill slouches toward recognizing the almost block vote that ensured his many elections and re-elections. He comes to Mississippi, Native Americans, Appalachia and the ghettos with a carrot in hopes of reinventing his image/legacy. New social programs for the poor, handouts, faux incentives that never worked in Arkansas. Shameless.

And now comes Hillary Rodham, the first victim cum Senator from her adopted state of New York. I was sickened to watch her attempt to catch a photo opportunity with the "disenfranchised" of the Empire State the other day. I couldn't remove the image of the real Hillary engrained in my memory. That is of the Hillary that pressed the flesh at a state fair where good people flocked to her, as some may in New York, thinking she cares if they live or die. After shaking the hands of a poor farmer, his gingham clad wife and their children, all the hardscrabble product of work she has never seen or could understand, Hillary would get into the car and demand that we would speed away. "G----- L. D., did you see that family right out of Deliverance?" This is how much she really cares.

As I see her perpetrate this fraud in New York it is ever the more transparent. Is it just me or is the hypocrisy growing? It certainly is for sale again in the Clinton camp. Are the people buying?
