I am not saying that no car occupants have EVER died after being rear-ended at 70 miles per hour, Terrence. I am saying that that GM knew there was a defect in this car which would cause this to happen more frequently, and decided not to fix it.

You didn't answer my question--do you consider this moral or justifiable corporate behavior? Or is utter amorality justifiable?

Obviously, a jury agreed with my position, not yours. I only hope there are more juries like that in the future!
