A Few Points To Ponder

Hi Karen,

Why is it a problem for the Treasury to print more money? ... They have already managed to print enough of it to wash the world in US currency. Besides, they can reclaim it in the first quarter anyway, and what the heck, everyone will have clean bills for a change.

Gasoline would not be a very serious problem if the US government made a more serious effort to fill the strategic reserve. In case you don't know it, Japan and others are stockpiling oil. The US is only making a token effort.

You gotta be kidding. You run JIT on your pantry? I gather you don't have many relatives dropping in. < vbg >

<< continuing to sound the disaster alarm when it's too late to move to Montana and dig a bunker >>

Can you point to a post where someone here suggested that?

Regards,

John
