FMC and Cyprus Amex : as above 1998 info.( January )
"... Only 10 percent to 15 percent of production will be made to commercial lithium carbonate markets. The remaining 85 percent will be sent to FMC's lithium division in North Carolina to process into other lithium compounds and lithium metal.

Minsal SA, Chile, has been in production since October 1996, and has been pursuing an aggressive pricing policy in order to build market share.

It is very apposite that the first lithium meeting since 1977 should be planned for February. The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) annual meeting will be held in San Antonio, Texas, and will include a full-day meeting on lithium on Monday, February 16, and two papers on the lithium market. Additional details can be found at tms.org

If Naxos is "in the process of negotiating with a major firm regarding an initial exploration program for lithium at Franklin Lake" and "it should be noted that of 30,000 acres under claim less than 3,000 have been actively explored, leaving what we believe to be a huge potential ripe for exploration" what is the status of all leases?
When do they expire? It appears, again, that the leases are the most important asset in the company.

Every effort must be taken to be keep ALL leases in good standing.
