to: chalu2 from: truedog When I say I "don't condone" it means I hate the hell out of it. When I added the word "but" it was to point out a Japanese excuses that I made clear I did not agree with. I never mentioned Hitler or Mussolini. so why did you. If you made and assumption, you certainly made an ass out of yourself doing it. I was old enough during WWII to know what went on when it happpened. Many members of my family served in all branches of the military and I heard, first hand, what happened. It was a nasty, brutal war. I doubt that you lived through the tremendous upheaval in the norm caused by the war and the revulsion to the atrocities done by the Japanese and the Natzis. The Italians weren't in it long enough to do anything. It was the Germans who caused all the trouble when our guys got to Italy. Your snideness will get you nowhere when you have shown you can not properly comprehend what you read.
