"The BT-AT&T global service would weld AT&T's transnational American network with BT's European and Asian interests - which include stakes in Hong Kong, Singaporean and South Korean operators - and the two companies' recent investments in Japan"

Arnt all networks in Korea CDMA? If so how will they combine them unless they intend to overlap their legacy systems in Europe and USA. What systems do they operate in Japan? Are they CDMA? Does this mean ATT will plan overlapp simultaneously with BT?
