Pat,...The Hot Haus question is more than an academic discussion. Although it is probably too late at this point, the defecting SSPI employees probably worked on their DSP ideas while they were still SSPI employees and the intellectual property may partly still belong to SSPI. I am not suggesting litigation at this late date however.

Apparently Hot Haus is involved in Software related to the telecommunication industry. Was the purchase of Alex partly to cover a Software area that the Company had lost when Ross Mitchell left? Is the recent new business area that the Company is going to explore with the $6.3 Mil Cdn from the Government going to be the same telecommunication area that Hot Haus is involved in? Hopefully we can get a few more details from the Company and perhaps Nord or someone with the right technical expertise can comment on how likely the Company is to be successful in a new endeavor. Especially if they are planning to compete with an established leader in the technology.
