I'm waiting for the overhaul, Dwight. I think the walmart site now is the same as the nordstoms site or buy.com... they don't have everthing, just a few specific things... just for browsing. In order to take business away from brick and mortar, a site has to offer everything the customer wants, all the staples from a particular category. Otherwise, the site is just fluff. Example go to wal-mart.com and put in "Barbie". You get a couple Barbie CD-Roms and a Barbie tricycle but no actual Barbie Dolls! Why is that? I always assumed with Buy.com it was a sort of "discounter" situation... where the top brands aren't going to be there. But for walmart, what is their excuse? The nordstrom site is the same way, a few items, no real selection.
