Valueman, In fact, Taiwan's gateway can easily covers Philippines. However, it can not be done politically because China. Taiwan will own its gateway and not rely upon Southern China's gateway at all. Talking about a waste of duplicated coverage around the same area. Taiwan has the money to fund even Philippines gateway if it can gain anything politically. On the web site I research, Taiwan's fisherman can use G* service without any problem within its gateway coverage area. Best, Brian H.
