To Will Hou: Competition in the PDA market will include wireless phones.

Doubt that there will be a gorilla in PDA as such, although Qualcomm already is a gorilla with broad reach and will be a tough competitor in the kind of data exchange that PDA's can handle.

While in the more narrow PDA market Palm Pilot is the current leader, and as you say WinCE (the product of gorilla MSFT) is gaining, I suggest you also take a long at the products which will be developed around Symbian (a British company). Symbian has support in Europe but also a link to Sun with Java and Jini as "connections". Worth watching but has not really hit the ground running yet and not at all clear which company may benefit the most if it does well. Chaz

Will Hou,

3Com's Pilot (discontinuous innovation?!)

Please elaborate. I've been thinking of the Pilot as a continuous innovation, but I could be very wrong.
