Why do millionaires save so much?

They don't change their reference groups. They don't change their friends. They keep on drinking Budweiser. (Chances are this surgeon always purchased discounted/old yogurt going back to his/her college days.)

What's more, millionaires tend to have less formal education (this surgeon is an exception). Each additional level of education reduces annual savings. This is documented!!!

Something tells me Lindy doesn't have a PhD...
