Jack, I think the past mistaken projections by management been clearly elucidated on this thread. Certainly the principal of accountability lays responsibility for projections at the feet of those who made them. I don't think that absolving management "from the responsibility of past misstatements" is an issue. Credibility in projecting has clearly been called into question. Having said that, how should management proceed from this point forward? I believe that general statements are a much safer way to proceed, particularly given the concerns about past specific projections.
Having an independent Board Member sounds like a good idea to me, providing the member is constructive, hard-working and forthright. It would be a good position for someone who is NOT retired and the position would NOT be good for an individual who is travelling around North America from September to November and who has other travel plans in the works. Not enough continuity for such an important role. Therefore, I am disqualified. I'm sure there are many qualified shareholders who would be eager for such a challenge.
Best regards,
Ed
P.S. I'm glad you didn't suffer too many wounds at the hands of those you encouraged to invest in Pyng. I tend to duck a little when I meet two friends who invested because of my enthusiasm. However, I do expect that we will be vindicated.
