Yes Bill, I absolutely agree....but which one is the most bang for the buck ? And do we want a publicly traded big hitter or a private broker? Maybe the thread could narrow the list of choices through our collective experiences with the various brokers.

I have only used Datek and Webstreet and I prefer Datek. (Primarily because I don't like the WebSt. browser set up and Datek is cheaper and faster). I think the $10 trade is where it's at if the broker provides reasonable service, so for now I suppose that I will overlook the fact that my assets are being held by accused crooks.
