Any investment has some element of faith in it. However, some investments require greater amounts of faith than others. In my view, the leap of faith that would be required for me to invest in AMZN stock is too great - as the future competitive landscape on the web is too uncertain. So, you are right - I don't have enough faith to "play", or that is, to own the stock.
