ATHM needs nothing from AOL! AOL needs broadband and ATHM is the straightest path to them getting it. If they cannot work a deal with ATHM they will try and take them out. When this happens other companies will step up to the plate for ATHM. This is all just speculation, but it is also very possible. ATHM is the goose that lays the golden egg. IMVHO
