Auric, you're getting a little desperate

what does offering Island after hour
trading access to retail customers
have to do with 5,000 trade ASTN?

TRAC was not mentioned either, and
they already offer this service.

Maybe you should be shorting that!

Auric: The WSJ article in your last post oddly fails to mention Optimark as well, which is especially surprising since Dow Jones is a major stockholder in Optimark. If you read the article carefully, it is all ECNs and after hours trading - but I guess you just read it to see if ATG isn't mentioned, and, confirming that it is not, move on to the next item with which you can make some point that has nothing to do with anything.

I really hope the NITE rumor is not true, but am afraid the daytrading part of the "street" may act on it anyway. Oh well, guess it will be a less productive day at the office than I was originally hoping for.

Auric Goldfinger

In the future you may find a large "ON - OFF" switch on the side of your forehead that will allow you to think.... (you will need to toggle it to "ON" BTW)...

.... in the meantime try to focus... I know it's hard...

...FYI I don't think ASTN's VWAP ATS has anything to do with extended hours for trading... nothing... zippo..... to do with it...

Kind of like wondering why DELL wasn't mentioned in an article on routers....

Try to understand what the discussion is here and focus on it...

In the meantime start looking for your brain's "On-Off" switch... it would really help... (often higher cerebral functions such as manners, proper use of language, relevancy, appropriateness, truth and general social refinement will start to occur in individuals who manage to toggle their brain's "ON" button)...

Not that I would EVER suggest you were in need of those!
