Hi Robert:

Triton Networks and Giganet (an Israeli startup) offer
the wireless OC3s used for setting up high-capacity
mesh-based wireless networks. These networks involve
very high rate links (an therefore highly directional
antennas), which will create difficulties when the
network needs to be reconfigured. We are talking in effect
of a wireless fast Ethernet network.

Rooftop's approach involves I believe smaller rates
and antennas which are not as space selective.

Best regards,

Bernard Levy

PS: Thanks for the DIRC network link.
