This is my first post to the thread...thanks for all of the great insight to date. A senior, senior exec. at Qwest is a great friend of mine and I had a chance to connect with him last Saturday. From speaking with him two things stick for your consideration. First, the US West dividend seekers definitely don't like what's going on and are dumping their shares. Second, don't forget that the street didn't initially like the LCI deal either and tanked the stock.
