This blows away analysts estimates. From marketguide: Average (.14) Hi (.11) LO (.16) No mention of Watkins Johnson acquisition. If anyone listens to the CC please post notes.

I, of all the people following SVGI, am impressed with the better than expected results. Let us see if SVGI gets any new analyst coverage. I will also be watching price action from here on! Today it is a dull market - Nasdaq off 35!

(SVGI US) was rated ''neutral'' in new coverage by analyst Robert Maire at Bear, Stearns & Co. 8/3/99 Bear Stearns initiates coverage with neutral, nothing to write home about, target $15 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Why start coverage at neutral unless there's an intent or at least a strong possibility of putting a more attractive rating on the company. After all, why waste the effort if you're not going to get any revenue from your clients trading the stock? Just a thought. Ian.
