Over the last week Canadian $ lost about 3.5% in its value against US
currency. Is it possible that some investors are selling b/c of Cnd $
depreciation?
The same argument is now cited regarding euro(euro is up against $) and US dollar.

Peppe, I am not sure what the sell off is due to: could be Alan G. could be insider sales.Who knows.Could be Institutional holders trying to shake weak hands.Could be frustration by lack of early release by NN of eps whisper nos.Could be true fear of forthcoming eps.

So far I have 50% of my large trading account in NN and 50% is parked in GE. If NN gets any lower I will wait until it approaches 20 and then I will double my position. If not, I will ride it higher. If GE deteriorates I will move into XON.If XON and the market and the whole world collapse I will sell everything and go back to the motherland to spend my days sightseeing and drinking coffee by the seaside caffes under a sparkling sun. At least health care there is free and " you can get by with your friend ". So I feel I have covered most bases <VBG>.

I am not concerned about Alan G and interest rates because unemployment is not going to all of a sudden go up.( even then Congress could allow retires to go back to work by lowering their tax rate. That would help pay for their drugs. I know what you mean; should run for Congress ). They may be oil price related oil going to $20/barrell from 19 .However Abelson in Barrons this weekend quoted a reliable oil analyst who said that OPEC has a vested interest in keeping oil at 18 to 21: anything higher will make it worthwhile to increase exploration which will defeat their purposes.

as far insider sale of 100000 shares, that is a piddly amount. That's about $2500000. This will barely buy you about an average house in the better parts of waterfront Toronto, and perhaps not the kind of house
that a " Director" of NN might want, ( unless he has more cash to add to it ).
This remains a buying opportunity.I look at the customers of NN and they are all a bunch of sophisticated folks who see value.
All IMHO,

TA
