Like that last atomic bomb about Gilder?? That was a wet
firecracker...

From what I can see, all these big and brave NOPT short-sellers
are irked no end by the fact that overall the Gilder newsletter
subscribers seem to have done very well by his recommendations
in the past while they, the short-sellers were not in on things.

I'm not short or long on this particular stock, but am weary of
this nonsense FUD, I'd rather discuss business models and so
forth. Fiber optics has been an exciting and interesting
market sector and will continue to be so.

Rob,
Lets see now, there are about six posters following this stock on SI and four are already short. You better take an ad in the WSJ for your BomB news because nobody will see it here.

Hello RobbRacer...

Are we having fun yet?
You don't short sell well managed companies for long..
In particular, NOT those that have favor with George Gilder.

Admittedly.. GG is a bit of an idealist.. (aren't we all?)
The big PIGS in communications belly up to the FCC bar begging to merge with promises of benefit to all but themselves. They're all liars. Where is our two-any-which-way fiber optic digital network? Must we have another world war to bring it about? To make it a national priority? The Copper Kings must die.

New technologies displace the systems that bring them about …
In the interim, we'll be slogging along with shit like DSL while Paul Allen puts his money down on our satisfaction with TCI's expanded garbage.

Your Friend
Marty.
