Mark thanks. No I don't get TheStreet.com so the clip is interesting. I'm not sure I agree with the bold statement "America Online STILL DOESN'T GET IT about the Web" though.

I think AOL is quite aware of the web and how these new high speed connections to it can affect them. AOL has been very successful as the web connection for first time computer and web users - the 'unsophisticates'. What they have a problem with is retaining these customers as they become more savvy with time.

I'm not sure AOL's business plan can survive without making their services more compelling - I think they know that, but I'm not sure they know how to deal with it.

In fact, how could they handle it and survive?
