I don't mean to question the downgrade (from Reduce to Sell). However, I did some checking on it - it was done by HSBC Securities. I noted that they downgraded ASML in January from Neutral to Reduce. Since January, ASML has gone from $30 to $60. Looks like they called that one correctly.

One other firm, Deutsche Bank, provided a downgrade during this time. All others were upgrades or initial ratings of Buy. The majority have buy or outperform ratings.

Could be that the stock has gotten ahead of itself. I hope this is the case and not something indicative of a fundamental problem.
