John: Interesting article on MatchLogic....I think that NETP recently expanded their relationships with IBM and Oracle. MatchLogic will be important to watch. There is A LOT of opportunity in the online targeting and personalization field and right now and NETP has large portion of this exploding market. The interesting thing is that NETP continues to be under-appreciated and priced like 'a value stock' in the internet sector <G> !! The company still needs more visibility and may get some soon. Here is something I picked up on another investor board...

<<NETP is presenting at the following events to the investor community....

Friedman Billings Ramsey
4th Annual Technology Investor
Conference
Hyatt Regency Reston
Washington D.C.
7/27/99

Pacific Crest Securities
E-Commerce Conference
Stanford Court Hotel
San Francisco, CA
8/2/99

BancBoston Robertson Stephens
Investing in Innovations Conference
The Ritz Carlton Hotel
San Francisco, CA
8/3/99

Adams, Harkness & Hill
19th Annual Summer Seminar
Boston Marriott Long Wharf Hotel
Boston, MA
8/11/99 >>

Lets hope that NETP gets the recognition and support they deserve in the months ahead.

Best Regards,

Scott

John,

Not a competitor in the slightest from what I can see.

NETP is a recommendation engine that suggests additional purchases for customers, while Match Logic tells Web advertisers which kind of ads will get the best results given their customer base, and what the ROI is.

Plenty of room for both solutions!
