To Thread **

I skimmed and read and skimmed Richard Ney's "The Wall Street Gang."

I kept telling myself that he is paranoid and that with more modern
availability of data the specialists can no longer play their
games -- as Ney so profusely documented.

Is there a book of the same genre as Ney's but with a more up-to-date
analysis of the market? Plus, does it include a description of the
NASDAQ and market makers and the possible games they play?

I have a lot to learn, but am anxious to get a better perspective
on all of this.

My thanks go to you folks who post here. You are all a huge help.

heinz, given today's action, would you agree that we have a delayed buy-in and, thus, can expect a weak rally?
