BroadBand Technologies Announces Financial Results for 2nd Quarter 1999
biz.yahoo.com

I'm not sure what to think. As far as I'm concerned, this PR is the same as the others; lots of ambiguity. I know that the company does not want to leak details of their current project, but leaving the investors in the dark like this just continues to piss me off. And we probably won't see more PR's until the next earnings-loss report.

Because I have never had inside info regarding standard protocol with BBT, it's hard for me to digest this sort of secretive production. All I hope is that they are making leaps and bounds with the new product and that they shock Wall St. with its unveiling. A couple good things to note in the earnings release:

1)<<<decreases in general and administrative expenses and a highly focused engineering and development effort allowed BroadBand to reduce expenses and cash burn rate.>>>

2)<<<''While we continue to meet objectives to reduce costs, we have become even more focused on completing our product and bringing it to the market. Progress in our development efforts reinforce our confidence that we will reach our targets there too,'' commented David Orr, BroadBand's president and chief executive officer. ''We remain convinced that our new product will be competitive in the access market where demand for broadband capacity continually grows,'' he added.>>>

Only time will tell I suppose.......still long and waiting.
Anticipation.....Anticipation

reach our targets there too," commented David Orr, BroadBand's president and
chief executive officer. "We remain convinced that our new product will be
competitive in the access market where demand for broadband capacity
