Gamblingonline may be in cahoots with Cryptologic in some way as they advertise Las Vegas Casino in the most prominent position on their site. Readers should go to the site and draw their own conclusions. Las Vegas Casino looks good, however, given their status as a US based corporation with banking ties to Travelers Insurance, etc. they are perilously exposed to both federal and state scrutiny should any form of the Kyl Bill be signed into law and even if it isn't. Also, the fact they clearly state winnings are kept confidential could pique the curiosity of the IRS which could become a problem for their customers by virtue of the fact they operate here in the United States. As a gamer, the security of a US-based company protecting e-cash deposits sounds great, however, it isn't likely you can have both offshore confidentiality with onshore protections. If it IS possible, I would very much enjoy learning more. Anyone have anything additional to add?

Elly,I read this Crap all weekend at RB, did not think it warranted the space here at SI...From what I understand:

1) Starnet cut it's loses with Levy's Vegas Casino...refer to the letter sent by Softec...

2) According to Internic, GamblingMagazine and Gamy.com, are Claude Levy registered addresses...Hmmmmmmmmmmm...Hidden Agenda!!!!

3) The e-mail Levy posted at Gamblingmagazine is over 1 year old...

4) Sounds like he is a loser, and I wish CRY the best... :>

Starnet will not respond to this Crap!!! Unless in Court!!!!!!!!

Several months ago I sent an e-mail to Bob Grace, Starnet IR, on another slam attempt by Levy, here's Starnet's response: "The article that these questions stemmed from is simply untrue. We are choosing to not publicly adress the article written by gamblingmagazine.com because we feel that we would simply be bringing attention to a biased, untrue, and unbalanced article. We'll let our licensees, shareholders and business associates defend us, as they know us the best and believe in our company and our product. We are taking the high ground and will simply focus on doing what's best for our customers, shareholders and licensees. In the end, they are all that is important."

From what I've seen of earlier Vancouver SUN articles on Starnet, Sideware, Braintech, (IMHO) I'm not surprised at the SUN's siding (maybe not the Sun, but they approve of their staffs conduct) with the Shorters...

Later...Gator

BTW, I was very happy not seeing a Starnet release today, as some at RB had suggested!!! I know I am invested in a First Class Operation...

Just waiting for the Shorts to have to cover...$40+!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
